Sycamore Care Centre Boldon (formally known as The Meadows) is a spacious and modern purpose-built Care Home situated in a quiet location on the leafy outskirts of Boldon Colliery.

The Boldon Sycamore Care Centre provides 69 large, spacious bedrooms over two floors and is set within peaceful leafy gardens and grounds. Each room is fully furnished, has a partial en-suite and can be customised with the client’s own additional furnishing and accessories to provide a homely and comforting feel. The centre can provide bespoke support based on the client or family needs and is suitable for those that require a professional caring environment or those looking for a friendly and safe residential home.

Specialist Care Services & Facilities

Sycamore Care Centre Boldon provides palliative care, respite care, dementia and general nursing care. Facilities include spacious communal areas of socialising and relaxation, private parking, internet access, a phone and television point in each room, extensive gardens and regular organised events and activities.

Sycamore Care Centre Boldon is located a stone’s throw away from Boldon Colliery with easy access to local shops, public transport, a local doctor’s surgery and a church next door. Easily accessible from the A19, the centre also backs on to Boldon Cricket Club and a number of picturesque walking paths.

The home is set within leafy grounds with gardens and mature trees. The home itself features an enclosed courtyard which allows for secure outdoors access for all residents. The centre also has several large lounges, dining and communal areas in addition to a reminiscence room to give residents plenty of space to relax and socialise.
