Whilst I'm dealing with things this morning after the passing of our mam today we would like it noted on behalf of all of the family that this very sad occasion has been made bearable only due to the OUTSTANDING care mam has received from your staff…

The centre has already looked after two family members previously and when it was suggested that we find an alternative placement other than the hospice at Ryhope there was only one place I personally vouched for and that mam was coming to, having had experience with yourselves.
Even though I know how you operate in general the care mam has recieved has surpassed the family's expectations and especially with you dealing with the virus situation and your emergency admissions from the Croft Care Home.
EVERY ONE of the staff without exception are outstanding and whilst we are loathe to single out individuals we have to give a special thank you to Samantha, Raeanne, Steph, Carrie & Stacey particularly for their input, feedback and communication (professional at all times) not forgetting others like night staff such as Chi Chi who I met for the very first time today and also Violet that my sister Sandra and niece Lauren also had dealings with.
Please relay our thanks to ALL staff… as without their care and genuine love for what they do the family would not be as thankful as what we are today to you all.

I would like to thank all members of staff and carers for the outstanding care shown to my father… during his end of life period at Sycamore Lodge, and also the care and kindness being given at present to my mother… Thank you also for the thoughtful gift of flowers given to my mother on Valentine’s Day on behalf of my father, and the floral tribute to my father. Everyone has gone above and beyond with the care given.
