Sycamore Care Centre is a private care facility set in 3 acres of mature tree lined grounds at Nookside in Sunderland, providing a superior service of care in an elegant and luxurious environment.
The Lodge provides 41 beds for residential care and includes a dedicated, safe dementia care unit. Sycamore Care Centre offers long term or respite residential care depending on the client or family needs in a friendly, professional and caring environment. The individual needs of our service users are paramount whilst ensuring that their dignity, independence and privacy are respected and preserved at all times.
The Mews, 52 beds of which 25 are EMI Nursing care beds and 27 are Residential Care, Residential Dementia and General Nursing beds whilst accommodating for those requiring End of Life care. The Mews is a purpose built modern and friendly care facility.
The Villa provides 7 rooms purpose built for Brain Injury and Neuro Rehabilitation Unit specialises in acquired brain injury and neurological rehabilitation. Our service offers excellent care, support and encouragement to help patients regain their maximum physical, emotional and social capabilities in an environment that offers individual care and positive outcomes.
The Cottage provides 13 beds for those suffering with mental and physical conditions or disabilities who require specific treatment and care for up to 24 hours a day. This can include long term illnesses, post-surgery, rehabilitation stays, palliative and end of life care.
The Centre is set in 3 acres of mature tree lined grounds where we host regular outdoor events and it provides a great space to take a walk and within walking distance of the vibrant playing fields with lush greenery
